Youngstown, OH based rock outfit Alteras have announced their new EP, Myself on Fire will be out August 3rd. The band have also released a brand new acoustic track entitled “Light”. This is the third song the band has released as part of the Revival 52 campaign this year.
When discussing the new single, vocalist Jake Clasen said, “There’s a lot of times when song writing can be difficult; you can run into road blocks in your head where everything you create sounds bad or unoriginal. Writing ‘Light’ was the opposite experience for us, we sat down and created it front to back in one night almost effortlessly. The concepts came so naturally and it was being driven by genuine, raw emotions. It’s those small magical moments that all song writers live for.”
