American rock duo ’68 have released a taste of what’s to come on their forthcoming album entitled “Two Parts Viper” which is set for release on June 2, 2017. They’ve also unveiled the first single from the record ‘This Life Is Old, New, Borrowed And Blue’, which can be heard alongside pre-orders HERE.
When asked about ‘This Life Is Old, New, Borrowed, And Blue,’ vocalist Josh Scogin said: “This is the very first song I wrote for the album. It definitely ‘connects’ more with my past than any of the other songs, so much so, that it almost didn’t make it into the album. It is one of my favorite jams but I had decided that if the other 9 songs didn’t balance it out a bit was going to leave it behind. I’m really glad I didn’t have to. “
The 10-track record is a compilation of what may be the pair’s strongest work to date – demonstrating more energy with a guitar and small drum set than an entire live band. Their performance and interaction with each other on stage make for a mesmerising set.
