Faux Collaborate With Our Nameless Boy For A Brand New Cover

Last year, Iain Gorrie, vocalist /guitarist in Bristol band Our Nameless Boy was diagnosed with Testicular Cancer and spent a lot of time in hospital receiving treatment. Treatment which he is still receiving today. It was at this point that Lee from Faux decided he had to do something to try and make Iain’s life a little happier despite the circumstances. Before they knew it, they were in the studio together recording something really very special.

In Iain’s words: “Lee from Faux very kindly got me the best get well present anyone could ask for; some studio time with Daly George at The Ranch to record a Brand New cover together. I chose ‘Degausser’ having previously worked out how to play a mutant version of it on piano. I didn’t want to do a straight cover and I thought that that lead line on the chorus in particular sounded nice on the ivories.”
