To Octavia Announce New EP ‘Nocturnal’ + Release New Single

For the uninitiated, To Octavia is a melodic metalcore group from Melbourne, Australia, taking inspiration from modern metalcore and merging it with a variety of influences such as pop, and alternative rock. If that’s not enough for you, let’s let their music do the talking!

Today, they have a brand new EP to announce that will be released on Friday April 26 – but in the meantime, they are showing off the very first taste of that EP in their single “XIII”. This brand new track (as well as the EP as a whole!) was produced, mixed and mastered by Chris Lalic of Windwaker, who moulded these new tracks into powerful, emotive songs, intended to hit hard and invoke all the feels.

Adam Kirk-Holmes, bassist/vocalist for the melodic hardcore outfit, says that XIII “…is one of our most emotional tracks. It’s a story of loss and reflection, accompanied by dynamic melodies and heavy riffs. XIII is the song that brought together all the aspects of what To Octavia was meant to be.”
