Awake At Last Signs to Outerloop Records + Releases New Single “Dead Generation”

East-coast based modern rock act Awake At Last are incredibly excited to announce their signing to Outerloop Records. To kick off their newfound partnership, the band has released a stand out single, “Dead Generation”. The band joins the diverse roster present among Outerloop Records, including artists such as Lorna Shore, Skyward Story, A Wake In Providence, Sundressed and more. Awake At Last’s vocalist, Vincent Torres, said the following about joining the roster:

“[Outerloop] really believed in the vision we were striving for and we signed with them for this record to see the vision come to life,” explains Torres. “It’s a bit of an adaptation process when you go from being completely DIY and independent to having a team behind you, but overall it’s really cool to be able to bounce ideas off of multiple sources and work with some amazing people who want the same thing that we do.”

Alongside the announcement, the band has released the first single from their debut full length record, called The Change (details TBA). The track, “Dead Generation”, is a soaring, powerful, and overall anthemic track, but its focus is far beyond that. Awake At Last strive to create a robust message with this song, and with this record; a call to action. Vocalist Vince Torres elaborates: “Dead Generation talks about how we are the ones who inherit the world, and with that we have to be more proactive about creating the kind of world we want to live in.”
