Fast rising quintet SHREZZERS have released their new single and video for “E.M.O.J.I.Q.U.E.E.N”, which features YouTube star Jared Dines. This is the first single taken from their soon-to-be-announced debut album.
Hailing from St Petersburg, Russia and led by former Betraying The Martyrs drummer/vocalist Mark Mironov, SHREZZERS (the combination of Shredding and Brazzers) are making huge waves with their unique style of technically adept metal with pop sensibilities. Their songs and themes are based around the lifestyles of young people today in a fun and tongue-in-cheek way, and “E.M.O.J.I.Q.U.E.E.N” is no different.
Mark Mironovexplains: “‘E.M.O.J.I.Q.U.E.E.N’ tells the story of a guy who has been chasing a girl on social media for a long time and he truly believed that they have to be together. One day he decided to write to her in DM to invite her to his place and she agreed. When she arrived, the guy opened the door and he saw not the girl he fell for, but a cougar (significantly older woman). Nevertheless, they stay together and even create a common social networking profile.”
