Ontario alt-rock band Heavy Hearts has released “Cut Too Deep”, their first new track since releasing their sophomore EP On A Chain in 2017. “Cut Too Deep” is available as both a 2-track digital single (alongside an alternate version of “Yur Head”) and as a limited run 7” flexi. The 7” flexi is now available to purchase via the New Damage Records webstore and will also be available to purchase at this year’s Hope Fest in Waterloo when the band performs on September 22.
“Cut Too Deep took a long time to figure out what direction it was going in,” comments Heavy Hearts vocalist Justin Glatt. “The demo was reworked about 3 times and then completely rewritten again while we were recording it. It took forever and we all got pretty pissed at ourselves but the song finally ended up finding its own vibe.”
