Convey Signs to Revival Recordings

North Carolina based label, Revival Recordings have announced that California based alternative post-rock outfit Convey has joined the family. The label currently houses a diverse line-up of heavy-hitters, indie rock, and pop punk bands including Alesana, The Home Team, AVOID, The Stolen, and more. Convey pride themselves on having their own spin on rock music that feels familiar but also looks toward the future of the genre.

When discussing the signing, Convey stated, “Since self releasing our Speed Dial EP back in 2016, we have been searching tirelessly for a bigger family to help release our debut LP. We couldn’t have been luckier or happier to find Revival Recordings who’ve whole-heartedly embraced our creative goals and believe in our wildest dreams. We can’t wait to get our new tunes to your ears and our live show to your other senses around the world!”

It was Convey’s brand of rock and their belief in what they were crafting that caught the eyes and ears of Revival Recordings owner Shawn Milke. Milke had this to say about the signing: “Since the first day I met Convey it has been hard to stay quiet about wanting to work with this band and today we finally welcome them to the Revival family. As a fan of people, music, and flat-out raw talent, there is nothing here not to like. Their album is infectious, carefully crafted and I can’t stop listening.”

Fans can look forward to new music from Convey with their first single, “Terror,” coming out on October 5th. The track is off the band’s forthcoming album which is set to release in early 2019. The band will also be playing a single release show at El Cid on October 4th. In the meantime, fans can check out a live video of the track “The Way” off the band’s upcoming album below.
