Blacktop Queen Shares New Alt Anthem “Desert”

LA alternative duo Blacktop Queen have released a new single entitled “Desert”. The track is
their first new music release following a revamp in sound and live dynamic. In support of the release, the band will perform at Emo Nite at The Echoplex in Los Angeles on May 1st.

Blacktop Queen consists of Los Angeles based producer / vocalist Evan Ambrose and drummer / producer Nate Lotz – also known for his time playing drums with Halsey & Ryan Adams.

“We basically recorded an entire EP, and made a trip to Joshua Tree with hopes of
finishing it,” says the band. “It was during that trip that we realized we
hadn’t made the music that was a true representation of us. We scrapped the entire
EP and wrote a song about losing your soul. Blacktop Queen found its soul in the
DESERT.”
