Counterpoint Release New Music Video for “Leave It All Behind”

Ascending UK hard-hitters Counterpoint have released a new video for their track, “Leave It All Behind”, taken from their upcoming debut EP If Not Now, When?, out February 9th.

Born from the embers of their old band, Operation: AEON, vocalist Dominic Lucock and guitarist Martin O’Neil created Counterpoint in 2015, wanting to create a sound that meged 00’s alt metal with a modern-day vibe. The duo’s early demo track, “Borrow Your Past, Steal Your Future”, caught the attention of highly regarded producer Jim Pinder (Bullet For My Valentine), who expressed his interest in working on their debut release. As the project developed, the twosome drafted in old friends, Michael Gaffney and Ed Sutton, to step up on the bass and drums. The newly formed quartet began to spread their wings on the live circuit, amassing a steady base, with a recent support show with US Rockers Crazy Town only helping their growing cause. The alt-rockers then bunkered down into rehearsals, as they keenly prepared for the recording of their debut EP with Jim at Treehouse Studios.

The quartet came out of the studio with a beast of an EP. Loaded with five engaging slabs of ultra-magnetic and beefy alt-rock, the release glows and commands your absolute notice. The imposing craft and anthemic demand of their new single, “Leave It All Behind” is a particular highlight and its set to light up screens and airwaves very soon.
