Formed at the end of 2016 and hailing from Barking & Dagenham, Cavalcade are a 4-piece indie/rock band that are quickly finding their way into listeners hearts. Comprised of Connor Duggan (lead vocals/rhythm guitar), Jack Campbell (vocals/lead guitar), Tom Nunn (Bass), and Steve Norris (Drums), the boys bring an indie/rock sound that you can admire, dance and rock out to all in the same set.
They have spent their first year as a band consistently adding to their ever-growing list of achievements, which include headlining the Garage to over 400 people (of which 120 were their own fans) to playing two sets at Camden Rocks Festival. 2017 has seen this effort snowball as they released their self-titled debut EP in February and have seen their fan base grow rapidly by the day.
Now the band is back with their brand new, much anticipated single, “Bat Your Lashes”. Ahead of it’s official release on Saturday, December 2, we’re thrilled to bring fans an early listen to the track. “Bat Your Lashes” has a unique sound that combines a grittier rock edge instrumentally with a slight surf-punk vocal tinge that gives it a flavor of danceability in its music while wholly demanding the entire rooms attention. Essentially, it’s true to Cavalcade form. Enough of our thoughts, let’s get on with the track!
