Brooklyn-based band Best Behavior have released the first single, “Say”, from their forthcoming sophomore album due this fall. The song was produced by Justin Gerrish (The Strokes, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Best Coast, Blonde Redhead) and mastered by Emily Lazar. Stream the song below and pick it up on iTunes.
About the song, the band’s Alex Gruenburg says:
“I love pop music. For a long time I tried to write music that was “cool” but, to be honest, I’ve never really been in with the cool kids. ‘Say’ is me giving in to my guilty pleasures and giving the strange kids something to dance to. Life is more fun when you do what you want and ignore the haters.”
