Fresh off their run with Music Saves Lives on Vans Warped Tour, Rochester-based “Futurepunk” band The Plague has released their latest single “Will You Ever Know Me” (originally premiering with HM Magazine). The track is a very personal story about frontman David Adam Monroe’s relationship with his father.
“He was diagnosed with cancer at a time where our relationship was not at a strong point,” says Monroe. “The song is about grieving the loss of a relationship, when part of you wants to keep hope alive.“
The track lives on the bands debut album Hope For The F.U.T.U.R.E, due out October 13th via Record Records. While out on Warped Tour, the band distributed 22,000 samplers including their singles “Danger,” “Not The Only One,” and “Fallen.” The proceeds were donated to the Music Saves Lives foundation.
