The Island Club Release Video for “Paper Kiss”

Brighton five-piece The Island Club have released the official video for their new single “Paper Kiss” – a dance-infused pop track with a wave of inspired hooks and daring melodies. In a dream-like, metaphorical setup, the video sees the band performing to a roomful of desk-bound office employees who are oblivious to what’s in front of them.

Of the video, the band say “’Paper Kiss’ is about the corruption of money and how it can change people. We decided to explore this concept by highlighting the contrast between the workers and us performing on stage. The workers’ focus is earning money, living the norm of the 9-5 routine, and we’re attempting to stray their attention away from this, yet their drive for profit stops them from noticing.”
