Post hardcore quintet Greaver are streaming their debut full length album The Faun ahead of it’s release this Friday (April 29th) via Revolver Magazine. The record, which is a Pan’s Labyrinth reference, was engineered and mixed by Al Jacob at Warrior Sound and mastered by Jamie King at The Basement Recording.
“The concept behind ‘The Faun’ is a murder story that touches on racial turmoil,” says vocalist Michael Rozier. “Leon is one of the album’s main characters and is the spirit that is narrates the tracks ‘A Poisoned Well’ and ‘Earth Rune.’ Leon’s memory acts as ‘The Faun’ (much like The Faun in Pan’s Labyrinth), guiding every decision that Morgan (The female main character) makes.”
You can pre-order the album on iTunes now and be on the lookout for our review later today.
