British rap metal/nu-metal band Hacktivist are releasing their debut album, Outside the Box, this coming Friday and with only 5 days to go, are putting the full court press on showing off what they’re all about. Today the band has unveiled the official music video for their single, “Taken” which features Rou Reynolds of Enter Shikari fame.
Of ‘Taken’, co-vocalist Ben Marvin says:
“This is about losing someone close to you, so it was a very emotional time writing and recording the song because we’ve all lost friends and family over the last few years. It’s about remembering what’s important in life, being there for others in times of need and holding moments in your life close to your heart.”
After the quintet finishes up their album tour in March, they are hitting the road in late May with Issues and Astroid Boys. You can check out the video for “Taken” below.
