Probably the biggest and most covered artist in 2015, you would think you’ve heard nearly every possibly rendition of a song by The Weeknd. Fortunately, that’s not the case as Salt Lake City alt-rockers Living In Fiction have just dropped their take on the megastars music with their cover of “Prisoner (feat. Lana Del Ray)”. Keeping the song in the same mellow style of the original, the band adds their rock elements and a perfect dose of heaviness to create one of the better covers of any song I’ve heard this year. Then again, these guys seem to specialize in making amazing covers with previous takes on “Animals” and “Love Me Like You Do” by Maroon 5 and Ellie Goulding respectively.
